Lake Area Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small and large animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care as well as full grooming services. We have 2 clinics, one in Hawthorne, FL and the other in Melrose, FL. We also offer farm visits and house calls.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our two facilities include well-stocked pharmacies, in-hospital surgery suites, in-house x-ray capabilities, closely supervised hospitalization areas as well as indoor boarding kennels at our Melrose facility with outdoor walking areas.
