Megan brings her more than 10 years experience in all AKC breeds & Custom Cuts to Lake Area's Grooming Salon and Spa. Her specialties include Schnauzers, Westies, Shih-tzus, Bichon Frise, Pomeranians and Golden Retrievers. While Megan specializes in Lamb and Lion Clips, her clients appreciate they can specify a particular cut and she will follow their instructions. Megan is commited to making your pet's grooming experience a loving and positive one.

A long time animal lover, Megan worked first as a front end manager & vet tech for a large animal hospital. After moving to Florida in 1997, Megan apprenticed under a Master Groomer for 3 years. She has certification in basic dog grooming, advanced scissoring & grooming skills and cat grooming. Megan has managed a grooming salon and trained groomers for a large retail chain. She is owned by a Bichon Frise "Jean Luc", a Golden Retriever "Jabula" and a Siamese cat "Levi". Megan enjoys spending her free time with her her husband and two boys.

Grooming Fees: Grooming fees vary depending on the breed of your dog (or cat), the condition of its coat and their behavior during grooming. Clients with regularly scheduled apointments reap the benefits of our lowest prices and accommodations for last-minute grooming emergencies.

Hydro-Bath: Included in all groom & bath packages. Hydro-Bath is a jacuzzi-like bubble bath to relax your pet.

At our salon your pet can enjoy a relaxing, massaging bath, spa pedicure, blueberry facial, or a professional hair cut. Our experienced groomer is gentle, loving, caring and gives your pet one-on-one attention.

Emollient rich Colloidal Oatmeal Shampoo for severe dry or sensitive skin, followed by a leave-in Colloidal Oatmeal Conditioning treatment.

De-Shed Treatment ($9.99-14.99)-
Love your pet, hate the shedding? Our signature shed less program features the remoisturizing treatment followed by force drying session which assists in releasing the shedding coat. Then a comb out session using the patented "Furminator" tool which releases the last stage of the shedding coat. This REDUCES shedding by 60-80%!!! For best results this program should be scheduled every 6-8 weeks.

Teeth Brushing ($9.99)-
Your pets teeth will be brushed with enzymatic toothpaste, followed by breath spray.

Puppy's First Grooming:
Lake Area Animal Hospital Grooming & Spa Salon offers special pricing for puppies less than 5 months old. We love puppies and strongly recommend our clients introduce them at a young age so they become familiar with the grooming process. Grooming should be a safe, pleasant & relaxing experience for your pet and that is best achieved by starting them out young. If you consider the number of groomings, baths, nail trims and ear cleaning that your dog will get throughout its lifetime, the earlier you start the better.
